Introduction

These summaries are offered as a resource for trainees learning anaesthesia or preparing for examinations. Each offers a summary of a topic on one side of the page, which may be used as the core of a practice session. There may be further information such as references overleaf. The summaries are intended to support viva practice, but they may also be read as they stand.
Please use them and let me know how they work for you. I have tried to avoid errors, but I’m sure there will be some!
