Policy Online is the new internet site for NHS Lothian policies* and any material directly related to these policies (i.e. procedures, guidelines, forms and charts, patient information leaflets).
Policy Online will:
- allow you access to a policy from any web-enabled device, at any time, alongside its associated material
- reduce the time it takes to find what you are looking for, through intuitive search functions, filtering and bookmarking
- assure that you are using the most up to date and approved policies
Policy Online will not be an advisory service; this will fall under the remit of the Policy Hub team or the departments themselves. Any questions/concerns around developing or approving policy and associated documents will continue to be managed by the Policy Hub or the relevant department approval group.
Departments involved include Clinical, Drugs and Therapeutics, Facilities, Health and Safety, Infection Control, Information Governance, Public Protection and more.
