Our vision here within the Simulation Team is to see high quality and impactful simulation programmes embedded across every acute department and unit across NHS Lothian. Building Your Simulation Programme
Our job is to support you in your development of a simulation programme in your context. We would be delighted to come and visit you to explore whether simulation based education might be an effective tool in your area, and how we might work with you to implement it there.
Faculty Development
We are committed to supporting you develop as a simulation practitioner. We have local support and offer local, bespoke training in scenario design and debriefing. Please get in touch for a coffee and a chat about how we can support you.
The Meta Debrief Club
One of our key quality assurance and continual professional development measures is our regular Meta Debrief Club. This group of simulation meet frequently across Lothian to review and learn from simulation debriefing. It is highly enjoyable and a very effective way to develop your debriefing skills.
