Apps are awesome and we use them every day from our phone or desktop to help our clinical practive. We have bundled several of them together into a 'collection' on the NHS Scotland Mega-App - otherwise called the Right Decision System
Right Decision System
Access the NHS Lothian resident doctors app collection via web browser here or download the apps below and search for 'lothian' and download the individual apps. The collection currently contains guidelines for acute oncology guidelines, antimicrobial prescribing, diabetes &endocrinology guide, infections diseases, IV fluids [and calculator], acute psychiatry [MyPsych], palliative care and trauma.
Polypharmacy: Manage Medicines
This Managing Multiple Medicines (formerly Polypharmacy) app provides information and tools to support healthcare professionals, patients and carers in making decisions about taking multiple medicines. It contains a toolkit for healthcare professionals that provides quick and easy access at point of care to key recommendations from the national polypharmacy guidance, including the 7-Step process for medicines review.
British National Formulary
The British National Formulary is the first choice for concise medicines information and trusted by healthcare professionals to support confident decision-making at the point of care. The BNF and BNF for Children app makes it easy to access up-to-date BNF guidance on prescribing, dispensing and administering medicines, even when you are offline.
