First 5 CPD programme

Supporting the development of senior clinicians across our system.

The First 5 CPD programme has been designed to address the learning needs of medical Consultants in the first 5 years of their career.

The content of the programme may be of interest to Consultants later in their careers, Higher Specialty Trainees and Specialty and Associate Specialist doctors, all are welcome to join the events.

There are a variety of events available, some in person and some virtual. Virtual events will take place either in the First 5 Microsoft Team, or in the Medical Leadership Academy team. Attendance at events can be booked via TuBS, this will also ensure you have an attendance certificate for CPD purposes. Outlines for each of the sessions can be found in the Event document accessible from the bottom of this page.

Virtual events, when suitable, will be recorded and available on the teams channel.
