Training to teach

A career in medicine opens up many teaching opportunities be they formal or informal, within or between specialties, within or between disciplines. Whatever your teaching aspirations this programme will give you the opportunity to think about different ways of teaching and how best to deliver it.

Levels of Development

BRONZE

Bronze level is an introduction to teaching. You'll discover areas for development by completing the Dundee 3-circle outcomes model. Your self assessment will guide the modules you take and you will have the opportunity to put your new skills in to practice.

SILVER

Silver builds on your teaching practice. It gives you more opportunity to teach, and allows you to learn from the feedback you receive.

GOLD

For Gold you will work to attain Level 1 of the Clinical Educator Programme, completing an observed teaching session and receiving feedback from your assessor and students.
